DivorceCare is a nationwide program designed to help those who are going through separation and/or divorce to discover hope and experience healing.

We believe that the foundation for healing is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We invite those of any faith and also those who do not have a faith preference to join us. The information contained in this program is helpful for anyone going through separation and/or divorce.

DivorceCare is not a program that promotes divorce and it is not a dating service. We want to encourage those who are going through the divorce process and we want to provide a safe environment for support and healing and growth.

Each of the 13 week sessions consists of 3 main segments and each week has a different topic related to separation and/or divorce. We begin each week with watching a DVD segment and the accompanying workbook has an outline for taking notes as we watch the DVD. Next we move into a discussion time to talk about what we’ve just seen on the DVD. We end our discussion time with a prayer by the group leader. The third segment is done between sessions on your own time. There are journaling pages in the workbook for you to write your thoughts and feelings down as well as a 5 day personal Bible study.

Daily devotionals are available by email that you can sign up for by going to   www.divorcecare.org and they have other resources to help you in your journey going through separation and/or divorce.

Our schedule for Sept. through Dec. 2011 is printed here as well as our contact information. Please feel free to join us if you are going through the pain of separation and/or divorce. Or, if you know of someone who is, please pass this information on to them.

May God bless you on your journey.

Ms. Bobbi J. Price, DivorceCare Leader
